Visit of a Chinese Delegation from Beihang University to EETAC
Jun 18, 2026
Last Tuesday, June 16, the School of Telecommunications and Aerospace Engineering of Castelldefels (EETAC) welcomed an institutional and academic delegation from Beihang University.
The purpose of the meeting was to strengthen existing collaborative ties and explore new opportunities for international academic cooperation.
Beihang University and the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya already have a framework agreement covering student mobility and double-degree programmes in which EETAC participates. This visit, initially promoted through the Vice-Rector for International Policy, Andreas Sumper, and coordinated with the school’s new management team, represents a further step towards implementing these agreements in the fields of telecommunications and engineering management.
Towards a Joint Programme within MASTEAM
One of the central topics of the working meeting was the proposal to design a Joint Programme linked to the Master's Degree in Applied Telecommunications and Engineering Management (MASTEAM), directed by Professor Carlos Gómez Montenegro. This programme would provide a highly strategic international educational pathway for students from both institutions.
Looking ahead to the future of these collaborative initiatives, EETAC reaffirms its commitment to internationalisation and to enhancing the global visibility of its research and teaching activities.
