Master's degree in Advanced Telecommunications Technologies (MATT)

What follows is a summary of the two tracks of the Master's degree in Advanced Telecommunications Technologies (MATT), a joint project of ETSETB and EETAC (both schools of the UPC) that are offered at EETAC. For further information on access, grants, registration, enrolment, etc. click on this link.

The master’s degree in Advanced Telecommunications Technologies (MATT) is a joint project of the Barcelona School of Telecommunications Engineering (ETSETB) and the Castelldefels School of Telecommunications and Aerospace Engineering (EETAC). The programme offers a broad selection of optional credits that are organised by concentration but also provide enough flexibility for students to create their own profile. On this master’s degree, you can choose one of the concentrations proposed by the schools (technical and technological specialisation at the ETSETB or cross-disciplinary courses at the EETAC) or build your own specific profile by selecting the optional subjects you are interested in at each school.

The two cross-disciplinary tracks offered at EETAC are focused on 5G Networks and Internet of Things.

MATT is a 60 ECTS credits master that can be taken in one year at full-time dedication or in two years at part-time. 1A courses are offered in the Autumn semester. 1B1 and 1B2 courses are offered in the Spring semester. Since 1B1 and 1B2 courses are shared with MASTEAM, there is also the possibility of taking them in Autumn, but in this case schedule compatibility with 1A courses is not guaranteed.
