Bordeaux INP is organizing a summer school in early June on the theme of Connected Objects (iot-bordeaux.org). The program will be scientific with technical presentations in the morning, it will be creative with an IoT challenge and of course it will be friendly with lunches, reception and BBQ.

The Internet of Things domain touches many themes, some of which are in line with humanity priorities for the coming decades. Bordeaux INP organizes an IEEE Seasonal School on Circuits and Systems for IoT, focused on both environmental and societal aspects through four themes:

  • Protect our oceans
  • E-Health
  • Intelligent Mobility and Transport
  • Smart cities

During the 4 days of the summer school, each theme will be dedicated to a half day of technical, scientific and industrial presentations delivered by international experts or distinguished lecturers of the theme. During afternoons, you will imagine your own connected object based on LoRa technology. You start from an industrial need based on the 4 themes, you think about an object within multidisciplinary teams and you pitch your ideas during an award ceremony. All lunches, reception and BBQ are offered at the price of a single registration. Attending the summer school you can obtain 3 credits (ECTS).

Registration starts on February 15, 2020 and the deadline is on May 25th.
