Salvatore Spadaro, del Departament de Teoria del Senyal i Comunicacions (TSC) de la Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) i que imparteix docència a l'Escola d'Enginyeria de Telecomunicació i Aeroespacial (EETAC), va ser co-guanyador del premi IEEE Communications Society Charles Kao Award 2019 que s'ha otorgat al millor article científic del període 2016-2018 de la temàtica “Optical Communications and Networking” publicat a la revista IEEE/OSA Journal on Optical Communications and Networking (JOCN).

Salvatore Spadaro és membre del grup de recerca de Comunicacions Òptiques (GCO) del Departament de Teoria del Senyal i Comunicacions (TSC) de la UPC, i és docent a l'EETAC d'assignatures del Grau en Enginyeria de Sistemes de Telecomunicacions i del MATT/MASTEAM.

Salvatore Spadaro, member of the Signal Theory and Communications Department (TSC) of Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC) and Professor at Escola d'Enginyeria de Telecomunicació i Aeroespacial (EETAC), is co-winner of the 2019 IEEE Communications Society Charles Kao Award, which recognizes the Best Optical Communications & Networking paper from the past three years (2016-2018) published on the IEEE/OSA Journal on Optical Communications and Networking (JOCN).

Salvatore Spadaro is member of the Optical Communications Group (GCO) of the Signal Theory and Communications Department (TSC) of UPC, and he is teaching both at Bachelor's Degree in Telecommunications Systems and MATT/MASTEAM.
