Unite! summer school on Human-Centered Machine Learning and other interesting things!

Just a reminder of the current open tasks you can participate. There are plenty of activities and they may fit both UPC students, professors and staff!

Do not hesitate in periodically check the news in our website (CAT - ESP - ENG). Take into account that the news section in the Catalan version may have more information than the others.

 

  • Unite! Summer School - This bachelor’s level 3 ECTS course takes place on Aalto University campus and offers you practical insights into machine learning systems and algorithms.
    This two-week course will teach you some of the most widely used machine learning (ML) techniques. A focus will be on human-centered applications of ML methods that require high levels of privacy protection and transparency.

  • ULisses 2nd Round - Addressed to students willing to be part of a multidisciplinary team composed by colleagues from other national and foreign universities. During 3 weeks (face-to-face), participants will be encouraged to develop innovative techniques that may contribute to the current challenges of the Oceans sustainability.

  • Teaching and Learning Spring 2022 - This Teaching and Learning (TaL) series of activities are aimed at teaching staff, lecturers and faculty in all Unite! partner institutions (including Ph.D. students and postdocs involved with teaching), who are interested in sharing and developing teaching and learning practices.

    For the first time, registrations will be carried through the Unite! Metacampus. In order to clarify any doubts which may arise from the registration process, we have created a guide in PDF format which you can find at the end of the website  article

     Comments: Registration deadlines tend to be really soon for each webinar as faculty need more time to plan their calendars.

 

  • Unite!4Future - The Unite!4Future Programme's main goal is to attract the participation of students from the seven alliance partner universities with the aim of calling for creative ideas about what can be expected at a university of the future. With a competition format, in a bottom-up approach, Unite!4Future will enable student participation by presenting concrete, original and implementable ideas that bring added value for all Unite! community.
