EETAC professors Cristina Barrado, Aniceto Belmonte, Mari Carmen Domingo, Carles Gómez and Ferran Reverter, in the world’s top 2% best researchers list

EETAC professors Cristina Barrado (Computer Architecture Dept.), Aniceto Belmonte (Signal Theory and Communications Dept.), and Mari Carmen Domingo and Carles Gómez (Network Engineering Dept.) and Ferran Reverter (Electronic Engineering Dept) have been included in the 2025 edition of the world’s top 2% best researchers list that is produced annually by a team of researchers from Stanford University.

The list is based on a composite citation indicator (c-score) that takes into account various citation metrics, such as number of citations, h-index, hm-index adjusted by coauthorship, author position (first author, last author, corresponding author), etc. These metrics are obtained from the citation data collected by Scopus up to year 2024 (included).
Aniceto Belmonte, Mari Carmen Domingo, Carles Gómez and Ferran Reverter have been included in the list for the sixth consecutive year. Cristina Barrado has been included in the list for the third consecutive year.
