Xavier Prats, researcher from the Department of Physics and professor at EETAC, honored by the Serra Húnter Program for Teaching Excellence

On Wednesday, July 9, the first Serra Húnter Talent Recognition event was held. The gathering, hosted in the gardens of Palau Robert, celebrated academic excellence and the quality of Catalonia’s public universities together with the Serra Húnter teaching community.
The event brought together a large representation of the more than 1,100 professors who are part of the Serra Húnter Program.
In addition to showcasing the program’s activity across the seven public universities in Catalonia and its impact on the higher education system since its launch in 2003, the event also recognized Serra Húnter faculty members for their achievements in teaching, research, outreach, or knowledge transfer. The honorees were selected by their own universities for their outstanding academic contributions.
Five researchers from UPC received recognition from the Serra Húnter Program. Professor and researcher Xavier Prats was awarded in the category of Teaching Excellence.
