7th GEOMATIC WEEK and 3rd GLOBALGEO FAIR

The Institute of Geomatics (IG), located at the Mediterranean Technology Park (PMT), is one of the organizers of the 7th Geomatic Week and the 3rd Geotelematics Fair (GlobalGeo), the most widely known event held in our country on this subject, and a meeting point for scientists, professionals and students.
The Geomatic Week Conference is a biennial event organized by the Cartographic Institute of Catalonia (ICC), Institute of Geomatics (IG), Official Professional Association of Technical Engineers in Topography (COETT) and the School of Building Construction of Barcelona (EPSEB) that deals with all of the disciplines of geomatics in depth: Geodesy and Navigation, Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing, Cartography and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). At the seventh conference, besides covering all of the scientific and technical aspects of these disciplines, the central topic of the conference will be "High resolution sensors and their applications".
Prior to and during the conference, more than 30 events have been programmed, including conferences, tutorials and evening sessions, given and supported by the main corporations and institutions in the sector. At the same time as the conference, the 3rd International Geotelematics Fair (GlobalGeo), an international meeting point for supply and demand on the Geomatics and Geotelematics market will be held.
The 7th Geomatic Week and the GlobalGeo fair will be held from the 20th to 23rd and 20th to 22nd of February 2007 respectively in the Congress Palace of Fira Barcelona.
